Welcome to GTA Key Shop, operated by GTA Key Shop (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms apply when you buy from our website. Please read them before you order. When you place an order, you agree to these terms.

What we sell
We sell metal key blanks and related items: residential, commercial, cabinet, mailbox, padlock, safe, condo, high-security, do-not-duplicate and decorative keys. We do not sell automotive master keys, tryout keys or jiggler sets. (See the Restricted Key Policy.)
How an order works (internet agreement disclosure)
Because you order online, Ontario law treats your order as an “internet agreement.” Before you pay, our checkout review page shows you:
- our legal name and store name, address, phone and email;
- a clear description of what you are buying;
- an itemized price, including taxes and any shipping;
- the total price;
- how and when you pay;
- the delivery method and the delivery date or window;
- our return, refund and cancellation rules; and
- any conditions, such as proof-of-ownership rules for restricted keys.
Before you place the order, you get a clear chance to review it, fix mistakes, and accept or decline. You can print or save the terms. After you order, we email you a copy that repeats this information, plus your name and the order date, within 15 days.
Prices and taxes
- Product prices are shown before tax and marked “+ HST”.
- We add 13% HST on Ontario orders. Orders to other provinces are taxed at that province’s rate.
- Any fee we require on every order is already built into the price shown. We do not add surprise mandatory fees at the end. Shipping that you choose at checkout is the only extra, and you see it before you pay.
Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (for example Interac e-Transfer and credit card). For e-Transfer orders, we prepare your order once the transfer arrives.
Cut keys are final sale
Many of our keys can be cut to your code. A key that has been cut is made for you and cannot be returned, unless we cut it wrong (see Warranty). We tell you this before you pay. Uncut blanks can be returned under our Returns policy.
Stock and cancellations
- If an item is out of stock or back-ordered, we tell you and give you a new date. You can agree to wait or cancel for a full refund.
- We may cancel and fully refund any order if we cannot verify a restricted-key requirement, if we suspect fraud, or if the sale would be against the law.
Delivery
We ship within Canada and offer local pickup. See the Shipping & Pickup policy for methods, dates and cost.
Our liability
We are responsible for getting you the correct, sound key blank you ordered. We are not responsible for how a key is used after it leaves us, or for a lock that was already worn or faulty.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of Ontario and Canada.
